Payment of the application deposit may be made by check or credit card. All other payments may be made by check or wire transfer. Checks must be in U.S. dollars and must be drawn on a U.S. bank account. Please make checks payable to Beyond Travel and write the name of the applicant clearly on the check. For payment by wire transfer, please consult our office for wiring information.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE ENROLLEMENT FEE
Enrollment fees include all accommodations, including home stays, two meals each day, any necessary training, travel to and from the arrival/departure airport, transportation in country, entrance fees to sites of interest (as listed on itinerary) field excursions, honorariums to lecturers and hosts, and related activities.
Please Note: Changes in foreign currency valuations, fuel charges, and other items can necessitate small changes in our fees. Beyond Travel fees, therefore, are subject to change.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Enrollment fees do not include air fare (unless otherwise noted); meals and beverages not listed in tour itineraries; vaccines and immunizations; passport or visa fees, including photograph fees; travel insurance; excess baggage charges; airport taxes; medical, hospitalization or evacuation costs; gratuities; laundry and other personal items, supplies, equipment, optional activities, telephone and internet services, and gifts.
LATE FEES: Incremental fees accrued due to late registrations or registration forms which are still incomplete or unsigned less than 45 days before departure will be charged to you.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Any cancellation received in writing more than 45 days prior to departure will result in a cancellation fee of $300.00. Any cancellation received 45 days or less prior to departure, including cancellations due to actual or threatened terrorist events or due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorists events, will not receive a refund. There will also be no refunds for voluntary withdrawal or withdrawal as a result of illness or accident before or during a tour.
Beyond Travel, LLC (and together with its owners, outfitters, agents, and employees, “BT”) reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip, program, excursion and/ or activity (or levy a surcharge) due to inadequate registrations. We are not responsible for costs incurred in preparing for a program that is cancelled.
LIABILITY : BT gives notice that they act only as the agent for the owners, contractors, and suppliers providing travel services and accommodations, and assume no responsibility or liability for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly or indirectly from any defect in any vehicle, or through any negligent or willful act (or failure to act) of any company or person engaged in carrying out the tour or other purpose. [In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers, for any reasons whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the tour operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers.] BT shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to: criminal or terrorist activities of any kind; strikes or other labor activities or unrest; athletic or sporting events or endeavors; mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations; overbooking or downgrading of accommodations; diseases; local laws; climatic conditions; acts of God or force majeure; acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt; domestic or wild animals; adequacy or availability of health services and/or evacuation services, if such become necessary; delays, changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health-related problems before, while in-transit to, during, and after a tour; or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of BT’s control. Baggage is at the owner's risk at all times. By embarking upon his or her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The traveler is hereby warned of the above risks, as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility that the traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled due to personal emergency.
AIR TICKETING: You are responsible for making your own flight arrangements and for all associated fees [,including any necessary airport/hotel transfers]; however, as a courtesy to our clients, we may assist with your domestic air reservations at no extra cost other than those costs imposed by the airlines. Since we cannot anticipate the availability of particular flight days and times, especially during holiday periods when flights are very difficult to book, we recommend that you prepare to commit to travel dates as early as possible after registering for a tour. [If BT must change the tour dates or cancel a trip for any reason, BT is not responsible for any air ticket costs you may have incurred on flight arrangements booked on your own.]
SINGLE SUPPLEMENTAL FEE: We will make every attempt to find a roommate when requested, but in the event that one is not found, you will be charged a single supplemental fee. While we make every effort to ensure that those registrants requesting a single room actually receive one, we will not be responsible for single rooms not available upon arrival. |
